Olympic Torch Relay
Had an absolutely amazing time for the Olympic Torch Relay in North East Lincolnshire.
Started at Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway yesterday evening after working my way through Cleethorpes, where the atmosphere was beginning to heat up.
It was fantastic to see the flame come off the train and then to go into the Meridian Park to see the activities there.
Then it was an early start this morning to see the torch pass through Grimsby. Great to see so many schools represented; these are memories that the children can cherish forever.
And to top things off, the Red Arrows roared over at 6.45pm on their way to Lincoln for the torch flypast.
With a miniature railway, Dock Tower abseil and RAF acrobatics, I think it is safe to say that Lincolnshire has stolen the show with the Olympic Torch relay.
