Storm Watcher gets Soaked by Giant Wave
A storm watcher gets drenched by a massive wave on Penzance Promenade at night. Huge waves created by gale force winds gusting to 87mph crashed over the promenade, ripping up paving slabs and depositing them in the street, flooding roads and properties in the area. Police and emergency services were out in force, pumping out flood water and closing the promenade to traffic.
