Bumblebee appears to rescue another bee from a spider's web
A bizarre video from the Newsflare archive of a bumblebee appearing to rescue another bumblebee caught in a spider’s web.
Keith Adams, who provides a running commentary throughout the video, caught the action on the windowsill of his flat in east London in 2014.
Keith describes how he saw a bee caught up in a spider’s web and wanted to film the scene as a lesson for his young son.
However, things took an unexpected turn when a second bumblebee showed up and appeared to sting the spider to deter it from its meal.
