Firemen in Sichuan Province, China rescued a worker from an electricity cable on Saturday after he sustained huge electric shocks.

According to firemen, the man was working 15-metres in the air when he was suddenly hit by the electric charge.

Fourteen firemen arrived on the scene to find the man hanging upside down from the electricity cable.

They worked for one hour before they managed to get him down.

The man was receiving treatment at a nearby hospital.

His injuries were not thought to be life-threatening, according to local media.
