A dramatic video has emerged of a vehicle crashing and bursting into flames at a rally event in Estonia earlier this month.

Drivers Tarmo and Raido Loel were lucky to escape with only minor injuries when their modified racing truck flipped and caught fire during the Tartu rally.

The video, captured by racing enthusiast Taavi Hindrikson, shows the moment the back end of the GAZ-51 truck suddenly lifts off the ground, causing it to flip numerous times before coming to rest.

Flames then shoot from the vehicle, prompting Tarmo and Loel to make a quick exit.

Apart from Tarmo receiving minor burns to the face, the two drivers managed to escape without serious injury.
