The video, taken from the stands of the Stadio Olympico, shows the Italian midfielder running into the crowd to hug his ‘nonna’ after scoring Roma's second goal of the night.

Unfortunately, Florenzi's actions earned him a yellow card from referee Sebastiano Peruzzo, who didn't appreciate the sentimental gesture.

Asked by a local TV station why he celebrated with his gran, Florenzi responded, “It was her first time here. She never came to watch me play even when I was a kid and it would have been easy. This time she's come all this way at the age of 82.”
