Six sharks feasting on a whale carcass

Buy video

An amazing video has emerged of a group of sharks feasting on a dead whale carcass off the shores of the Bahamas earlier this month.

The video, captured on an underwater camera by Christopher Crooks, shows the sharks viciously tearing apart the bait.

According to Crooks, the dead whale was discovered washed up on the shore of Bimini.

Crooks and a friend then decided to tow the whale out to sea to tempt any underwater predators.

"We weren't disappointed," Crooks later wrote online.

"Within 45 minutes we had five bull sharks and a silky shark enjoying the carcass".
