Neighbours blocked car in deliberately then tried to strike phone
I lived at number 17. When I arrived home I left space outside my house for my partner, and left space outside number 15 because I knew that they liked to park outside their house. Number 15 also had a driveway so they could fit both of their cars their. I parked in front of number 13 who had no car, thinking that I was being considerate. When I went outside the next day I found that the owners of number 15 had blocked my car in deliberately, leaving their driveway empty! I rang their doorbell but got no answer, so I called the police who tried phoning them but also had no response. I persisted with ringing their doorbell and they then answered calling me an 'idiot' and saying "You should have parked right down the street as that car's not yours" (referring to the driving school car). The male then moved one of their cars and blocked our other (black) car in. I tried to remain calm throughout but you can hear some tension in my voice in one of the clips. He then tried to strike my phone as I recorded all of this. I retreated inside and called the police who then arrived fairly promptly. I could tell that the police officers do not enjoy attending parking disputes and they were initially expecting it just to be a case of one persons word against another. However when the police officers saw the first video clips of how the cars were parked their body language immediately changed as they realised that it was a very clear deliberate act of obstruction. The officers warned the neighbours and it didn't happen again. We have since moved house and have the nicest neighbours ever!
