The video, captured by bystander Sikum Limbu in 2014, shows the moment workers at the Bhrikutimandap amusement park in Kathmandu had to climb to the top of the ride to bring her down.

According to Limbu, the girl fell out of the cabin after trying to stand up midway through the ride, and was left hanging from the metal supports that gird the structure.

Thankfully, the frightened girl was brought down safely.

Writing online about the safety of the ride, Limbu said “From my point of view the rides at the amusement park are still not fully safe. The machines are old and the belts of many rides are also in need of repair.”
