Dramatic CCTV footage has emerged from China capturing the moment a young boy survived being run over by a car.

In the video, captured on a residential street in Shandong Province earlier this year, the six-year-old boy can be seen playing in the road when an SUV runs straight over him.

Miraculously, the car passes over the boy who is positioned directly between the wheels and he can be seen standing up afterwards rubbing his back.

According to a local news report, the boy suffered light scratches on his face and legs.
