Remote controlled car rescued by remote controlled tow truck

A cool video has emerged of a remote controlled car being rescued by a remote controlled tow truck after falling through a frozen lake in Magog, Canada.

The footage, shot late last month using cameras installed inside both vehicles, gives the viewer a unique perspective of the miniature rescue mission.

After the first car falls through the ice, the owner - who uses the online pseudonym ‘Traxxalu’ - drives a specially modified truck onto the lake and tows the car to safety using a robotic arm.

"I hadn't realized that the stream hadn't frozen all the way, the slash broke the ice... it was a stressful situation" Traxxalu later wrote online.
