A hilarious video from the Newsflare archive of of a dad trying to explain away a pair of mating raccoons to his kids.

In the footage, captured by the father at the family’s home in Seattle last month, the excited kids can be seen at a window, watching the raccoons climbing into their back yard.

However, after landing on the grass, the raccoons begin to copulate, leading one of the children to exclaim: “Woah, they’re wrestling!”

In a valiant attempt to explain the awkward scenario, the father replies: “they’re doing more than wrestling I think.”

Finally one of the children, to his parents’ amusement, comes to the conclusion that the male raccoon may be performing the Heimlich Manoeuvre on the female raccoon.
