A bizarre video has emerged from China of two men playing with a huge spinning top in front of crowds of onlookers.

In the footage, captured by a local resident in a public park in Hennan Province last month, the two elderly men can be seen wearing traditional costumes while whipping the large spinning top.

According to the filmer, one of the participants – who is 82-years-old – took up the exercise during his retirement and can now manage a top weighing up to 50kg.
