Hermit crab borrows lego block as shell

An unusual video has emerged of a hermit crab borrowing a Lego-style toy brick as a shell.

The footage, captured on a beach in Puerto Rico earlier this month, shows the creature crawling around with its new-found home.

The filmer later wrote online: "Hermit crabs do not have a "built-in" shell, they use empty shells they find and move up in size as they grow. Hence the name Hermit.

"We found this one at a beach in Puerto Rico."
