'Drift triking' the steepest street in the world
An exhilarating video has emerged of a group of young men riding 'drift trikes' down, Baldwin Street – also known as ‘the steepest street in the world’ - in Dunedin, New Zealand.
The footage, shot on Saturday, shows Harley Jolly, 23, Tyson Barr, 18, and Nic Roy, 18, rushing down Baldwin St on their drift trikes at speeds they believe were over 100 km/h.
The three men, who form the ‘Slide Christchurch’ group, are hoping to raise awareness around drift triking and get it recognised as a mainstream sport.
