Man proposes using buried time capsule
A heartwarming video has emerged of a man using a buried time capsule to propose to his girlfriend earlier this month.
The footage, shot by a friend near Kelowna, Canada, shows a group of friends going through the objects they are going to put in a capsule that they will re-open in 20 years before digging the hole.
As they dig they stumble upon another time capsule, to the amazement of Lydia who has no idea of what is coming next. She speculates "what if it's Hitler's? What if it's gold?".
Jason, Lydia's boyfriend, suggests she open the mysterious capsule in which she finds a ring box. She doesn't realise Jason is proposing to her and asks "this is not for me?".
Jason then pulls a ring out of his pocket and asks Lydia if she will marry him - she says yes (thankfully for him after all the effort).
