Kayaker swims class 5 rapid
Kayaker Matthew Beauchamp was out with friends on the Raven Fork in NC when he suddenly got into a scary situation. While running a river stacked full of Class 5 rapids Matt came off line in the rapid Right Right and wound up left hitting a dangerous undercut rock and then proceeding to swim in the cold water. Thankfully the solid crew he was with was able to rescue him and his boat before things got any worse.
