A video has emerged from China of a dog sitting in a bizarre upright position.

In the footage, captured in Henan Province on Thursday, the dog can be seen patiently waiting while his owner enjoys a family lunch at a restaurant.

According to local reports, the dog named ‘Ahuang’ has been trained to sit like this and can hold the position for up to 20 minutes.

On this occasion, he was instructed to sit away from the table after getting in the way of the other guests.
