Footage has emerged from China of the aftermath of two balcony collapses amid strong winds - with falling debris miraculously avoiding those below.

The video, filmed by a local resident in Henan Province on Wednesday, shows the hole where a balcony previously was and rubble scattered across the street below.

According to local reports the building - standing for 28 years - was damaged when gales and sudden rainstorms hit the area the night before.

Despite the damage no injuries have been reported.
