Genet hitches ride on black rhino's back

Buy video

An amazing video has emerged of a genet hitching a ride on an endangered black rhino at a game reserve in South Africa.

The footage, captured on a night vision camera last year, shows the creature perched on top of the rhino at the Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Game Reserve. The filmers have nicknamed the creature Genet Jackson.

According to a spokesperson from the reserve, the genet has a history of riding on the backs of large animals. It has been previously photographed hitching rides on a buffalo and a white rhino.
