Environment Canada issued a tornado warning on this storm as it passed through the municipalities of Wainfleet and Port Colborne in the south Niagara Region of Ontario, Canada on Saturday, August 1.

The storm passed right over my position and had rotation on it as it approached. You can see the storm rotate and cycle itself out into a rainy mess. There was a lot of hail - pea size to larger - on the storm as well as heavy rain

It reformed shortly after and had some minor rotation on it again. No funnel clouds or tornadoes were spotted.

I was unaware the storm was tornado-warned at the time.

This is the Environment Canada warning: At 5:43 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm that is possibly producing a tornado. Damaging winds, large hail and locally intense rainfall are also possible. Rotation has been reported in a thunderstorm near Wainfleet. The thunderstorm is moving to the southeast at 40 km/h towards Lake Erie.
