Farmers empty UK supermarket of milk in protest at prices

Footage has emerged of dairy farmers buying all the milk in a supermarket in protest over low prices in Oswestry, UK

The video shows the group buying all the supermarket's stock and swapping it for bottled water from the shelves - a way of pointing out that supermarkets are charging more for water than for milk.

The video was shot by one of the protesters on Wednesday and shows them rushing through the local Morrisons supermarket to complete the action while tractors are parked up outside.

Similar protests are reported to have taken place across the UK after supermarkets cut their charged prices for milk - angering dairy farmers.
