A cool video has emerged from China of a machine which makes artificial clouds.

In the footage, captured in the capital city of Henan Province on Sunday, "clouds" in the shape of dolphins, stars, birds and snowflakes can be seen soaring up into the sky from the machine.

According to local media, the "cloud maker" machines use a mixture of helium, nitrogen and secret ingredient to create foam which remains in tact for hundreds of metres in the air.

According to local media, the owners of the "cloud maker" have been earning more than a thousand dollars a day by making artificial clouds for parents and their amazed children.
