Player breaks leg horribly during bubble football match
Shocking footage from the Newsflare archive of a man breaking his leg while playing bubble football in South Africa.
The video, captured from the sidelines at the Rocking The Daisies festival in October 2015, shows the man - dressed in a giant plastic bubble - rebounding off an opposition player and suffering a horrendous-looking leg injury.
The force of the collision causes the full weight of the player to fall onto his left leg, which appears to twist under the impact.
Writing online about the injury, the filmer said: "After the injury, he attempted to stand again when the leg buckled.
"He was rushed off to the EMT services."
It turned out the man had snapped his Medial Collateral Ligament and cracked his fibula. He has a 9 month recovery period.
