Footage of dramatic disturbances in Walthamstow, London last night as groups of 'youths' clashed with each other and police.

According to reports the incident on Tuesday night began with a 'fight between two girls over a boy' before descending into a full-scale brawl. More than 100 police officers reportedly attended the scene, including public order trained officers from the Met's Territorial Support Group.

The video appears to show a wooden bat being brandished during fighting as a huge crowd surrounds two brawling women.

Walthamstow MP Stella Creasy said on Twitter: "Furious to hear there is a fight outside Walthamstow Central station - will be following up with police but pls stay clear of area."
