Paraglider hits electricity wires
Footage has emerged from China of a man being rescued after his parachute got caught up in electricity wires while he was paragliding.
In the video, filmed during the rescue in Zhejiang Province on Thursday, the sportsman can be seen dangling in the air off the cables that are around 30 metres above the ground.
Firefighters can be seen climbing up a rope ladder to gradually untie the parachute and free the man.
According to news reports, the local electricity department had to cut the power for around seven hours in order for the rescue team to carry out the work.
Fortunately, the 35-year-old adventurer survived without serious injuries.
