In a desperate bid to find a child who tragically drowned while bathing with companions under the Chham police station area in Tehri Garhwal district, the SDRF's Deep Divers and Rescue Team embarked on an arduous search operation from July 23. However, their efforts were severely hampered by relentless rain and rising water levels in the lake.

Undeterred by the challenging conditions, the SDRF rescue team, along with expert deep divers, commenced the search at the crack of dawn, leaving no possible location unexplored. Despite their relentless efforts, no traces of the young boy could be found on the previous day, leaving the community in anguish and despair.

Constable Pradeep Negi, a skilled deep diver from the SDRF, exhibited unwavering determination during the search. Venturing deep into the lake's depths, he managed to recover the child's lifeless body. The recovered body was handed over to the district police for further necessary action.

SDRF's footage sources reveal the gravity of the search operation, highlighting the challenges faced by the rescue team in their quest to bring closure to the heart-wrenching incident. As the community mourns the loss of the young life, the SDRF and local authorities continue to work tirelessly to mitigate further risks and ensure public safety during this challenging monsoon season.
