Elephant smashes into car on Safari
After 23 years of professional safari guiding in the Kruger National Park, Johann Lombard - one of South Africa's top wildlife guides - experienced an elephant encounter of a lifetime. Not only was this incident totally out of the norm, but the first ever encounter in which an elephant made contact with Johann's vehicle. Despite the absence of any provocation and all the professional precautions taken, this female elephant not only charged his vehicle but smashed right into it.
Fortunately no one was injured during this event and the elephant eventually walked away unharmed.
