Young boy accidentally burns himself with a match while lighting a bubble of hydrogen gas
A cute and funny video of a young boy who gives himself a minor burn with a match.
While filming a Make Science Fun YouTube video, seven year old Samuel accidentally burns himself with a match.
He first lights the match using the flame from a candle, he then ignites some bubbles of hydrogen gas in a dish. When he tries to ignite some more of the bubbles, he holds the match a little too long, and the flame burns his fingers.
It is a very minor burn and doesn't actually cause any damage, it just hurt for a few moments.
The final bit of footage is Samuel using a gas tube and detergent to produce hydrogen bubbles. As the hydrogen is lighter than air, the bubbles float quickly to the ceiling.
Samuel's father Jacob Strickling, a qualified and experienced Science Teacher is supervising Samuel while also filming the action.
The location is Sydney, Australia.
