Man lifts Mini Cooper using homemade exoskeleton
Footage of a man managing to lift a Mini Cooper car with the help of a homemade exoskeleton - inspired by the movie Elysium - in Canada.
The creator James Hobson has quit his day job to focus on Exoskeletons after previously managing to lift 275 pounds (125 kg) using a homemade device.
In this video he shows off his latest design by lifting the 2524 pound (1145 kg) car off the ground using the powered legs of the creation.
He says his next step is to build an upper body to match the power of the new legs, which provide thousands of pounds of thrust.
