Footage of London's air ambulance landing on the Elephant and Castle roundabout in South London, UK on Friday afternoon.

A woman, reported to be in her 80s, was hit by a lorry at the major roundabout and was pronounced dead at the scene.

I am one of the occupant at metro central heights on newington causeway. I reside in the 10th floor hence the clear video of the chopper landing. Lots of noise around 1pm , which I thought was normal London and suddenly zoom past the emergency chopper tries to land at E&c. I was surprised as to what was going on. I hurried to see if there was an accident. All I could gather was a long truck at the new signal near the shopping centre. I witnessed for the first time how the emergency services reached the spot so quickly and attended to the whoever met with the accident. That's about it really..
