++CLIENTS PLEASE NOTE: THIS VIDEO HAS BEEN LOOPED++ Footage has emerged of a remarkably calm air stewardess telling passengers about an incident that occurred on a JetBlue flight on Friday.

The video, captured at the Boston Logan International Airport, shows the member of staff explaining to passengers why a "large bang" was heard coming from beneath the plane.

According to the filmer, the pilot initially thought it may have been a landing gear collapse, but it was later revealed to a be an issue with the baggage truck - which had rolled forward and hit the aircraft.

"In the video, the stewardess can be heard explaining the situation to passengers, saying that there was 'aircraft damage' and that they all had to evacuate the plane.

"Once boarded on JetBlue 892 flight about 10 minutes into boarding the plane experienced a big jolt with loud bang as the plane went up and down. I was in front row the captain jumped up and original said they thought it was a landing gear collapse but then they quickly realised we were hit as people in the back started to spread the word.

"The captain left the plane to investigate and return a few minutes later to explain what happened as the Police and Fire Departments arrived.

"The issue was the truck driver got out and the vehicle re-engaged and rolled forward or was never in park. The baggage crew working the flight worked fast to stop the truck from rolling further and causing any more damage.

"JetBlue took great care of us passengers and had us a replacement aircraft an hour later. We had the same pilots, but a different cabin crew," the filmer wrote online.
