Shocking footage has emerged of a driver appearing to try to reverse into a group of cyclists on a road in Western Australia.

The video, captured on a country road in Glen Forrest last year, shows a Land Rover driver backing up towards the cyclists in what appears to be a crazy display of road rage.

Thankfully, none of the cyclists were hit.

The Land Rover, driving in the opposite direction to the cyclists, stop just after they pass each other.

The 4WD driver begins to reverse at speed, crossing to the wrong side of the road directly towards the rearmost rider in what seems an attempt to force him off his bike or at least off the road.
