A shocking video has emerged of an alleged 'hit and run' attack on a cyclist in Singapore.

The footage, captured from the view of the cyclist, shows an aggressive driver attempting to cut off a group of riders.

After honking its horn and swerving dangerously towards the group, the vehicle suddenly comes to an abrupt halt in front of them, causing one of the riders to slam into it.

The vehicle then drives off, while the injured cyclist is left on the ground.

After reporting the incident to the police, along with the accompanying footage, the driver was eventually convicted.

"4 months after the incident, we received a letter from the police saying the driver had been convicted of 3 offences - inconsiderate driving, failing to stop and failing to make an accident report within 24 hours," the filmer wrote online.

Thankfully, the cyclist sustained only minor injuries, and is back riding again.

Although the footage was captured in 2014, it has only recently emerged online.
