Street Pong in Hildesheim, Germany

'Street Pong' is an game aimed at keeping pedestrians entertained while waiting to cross traffic lights. Comprising an electronic device on either side of the road, members of the public are encouraged to play each other at gaming classic 'Pong'.

Created by Sandro Engel and Holger Michel at the HAWK Hildesheim, Faculty of Art, the installation strives to promote 'playful urban interactions' between members of the public.

This video, taken in Hildesheim, Germany where it is being trialled, demonstrates the game in action.
