Cloudy Night Time-lapse of Camping in the Anza-Borrego Desert

Buy video

This is my favorite camping spot in southern Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. Normally I shoot the Milky Way, meteor showers, and star trails. Well, it was cloudy this night, so I had to change plans and shoot a cloud time lapse instead.

I produced this video by combining 361 frames shot at 40 seconds f/5.0 ISO 1600 using my Canon 6D and Sigma 15mm fisheye lens.

I then combined the frames and sound effects into this video using Blender 2.78.
