Drinking snake blood and beating heart in Vietnam
During a trip around Vietnam in 2014 I joined my motorcycle tour guides and spent time with their families. Some 3 generations sit around a table in a snake restaurant to dine on our choice of snake. Before sitting down to eat the snakes we are first presented with the heart and blood mixed with a small shot of Russian imported Vodka. The restaurant was approximately 20km outside Nha Trang and not exactly a tourist destination.
