My cousin Katie is a Junior at Baylor University and it's winter break. Instead of going home to Hawaii, She was spending her winter break with her fiancé in Germany. As lovely as that sounded, She knew She would miss the family too much to not see anyone at all this year. So She asked her parents if they could help fly her to Arizona (a trip to Arizona is more affordable than a trip to Hawaii AND Germany) to see all of us since it had been a year and a half since the last time She saw us. Then while She called Her Auntie Stephanie about picking her up from the airport, the idea to surprise nana came to us. And then she stayed with us for a few days before she met up with her fiancé.
