A toddler who was left at an intersection in east China after falling off an electric tricycle has been reunited with her mother.

This video, filmed in Tonglu County of Zhejiang Province on January 4, shows the moment the toddler fell onto the road when the mother pulled away from traffic lights.

Luckily, she was not hurt and some kind-hearted bystanders helped her catch up with her mother.

A toddler was reunited with her mother after falling off an electric tricycle at an intersection in Tonglu County of Zhejiang Province, east China on Wednesday.

The child fell off the bed of the vehicle when the light turned green and the mother started to drive off. Luckily, she was not hurt and some kind-hearted bystanders helped her catch up with her mother.

"The child was unaware of what was happening when she fell, and her mother did not notice and just drove away," said Mr. Yang, who got the child off of the busy intersection before calling the police.

The van driver, who was behind the electric tricycle when the toddler fell, caught up with the mother, stopped her and told her what had happened.
