Willett's School of Motoring - Fiat trying to overtake

Buy video

Yet again this week another driver wants to overtake a learner vehicle without fully considering the area they are in and how far ahead they can see. We have a lot of holiday makers in our area right now due to the summer break and obviously they need retraining in when it is safe and how to overtake. You will see the Fiat driver following sometimes too closely then twice try and overtake without signalling to show others what their intentions are then it seems no power to actually make the manoeuvre work. The driver has to drop back on both occasions due to oncoming traffic appearing from the bends ahead. The same driver then further along the road nearly rear ends us when we have to stop for oncoming traffic just after a bend. You can hear from my pupil they are feeling stressed, possibly harassed and intimidated by the actions of the following vehicle and even the passenger of the Fiat at one stage puts something over their head/face due to the poor skills of their driver. There is even a child/children in this vehicle behind. The driver of the Fiat puts the public, us and their passengers in danger at least 3 times in a 5 minute or so section of their drive. Again as you can see my pupil had been making perfect progress and there was no need for anyone to need to attempt to overtake us if they were driving considerately.
