Cochlear Implant Switch on- Royce (1 year old)
My Son was diagnosed as profoundly deaf. On December 12th 2016 he had a 6 and a half hour surgery to do a bilateral cochlear implant. Just before his 1st birthday on 25 December. On the 13th of January we did the switch on. Royce heard sound for the very first time. He heard his parents and grandparents for the first time.
