Scary footage has emerged of a man facing down an avalanche on a glacier in central Nepal.

The video, filmed earlier this month on Kapuche, a low-lying glacial lake in Kaski District, shows the moment the man first realises an avalanche is charging through the valley.

Fortunately, it stops just short of posing a threat but does cover him with snow.

This video was captured in Nepal. Kapuche is the lowest glacial lake of Nepal which lies in Kaski district of Nepal; which is 4 hours of drive in local transport. It is 7 hours of walk from sikles, which is a Gurung settlement. Many people are not aware about this glacial lake. According to the local people the size of this is increasing as the time passes. It might create a threat to the settlement living downstream.
