A muck tractor and trailer has dumped its full load on the steps of Derby Crown Court this morning. The driver left his filthy cargo spread out over the stairs and pathway to the court house in an apparent protest against “a severely flawed judicial system”, according to a printed sign left in his cab.It read: “ What a shame!!! What a shame to have to resort to this. Today is a personal protest against the severely flawed judicial system that has consistently failed to listen to simple truth and reason. Sorry for any inconvenience caused (to the general public)”David Carter from Derby was passing by on his bike when it happened: “He was spreading the muck all over the steps when I went past, it was quite a mess. I’d love to know why he felt he had to resort to such a measure, but he didn't want to say anything to me.”Andrew Simpson, from Derby, saw it and said: “I wondered what what going on when I saw the tractor and trailer stop outside the court so I decided to stay and see what happened. He didn't say why he was doing it, but said there was a note in his tractor cab that explained it. Fair play to the chap - he was fed up and he got his message across.”Julie Adams from Sinfin said: “There was an awful lot when he had just done it, but it’s being cleaned up quickly. What a mess. But thank goodness it wasn’t manure, that would have been horrid.”All Rights Reserved: F Stop Press Ltd. +44(0)1773 550665   www.fstoppress.com
