A funny video has emerged of a baby appearing to hate his singer father's humming.

The footage, shot in Alabany, OR, USA on Sunday, shows six-month-old Emmet pouting with discontent when his father Chris hums a note.

"For weeks my wife and I have been trying to get Emmett to match my pitch," Chris wrote online.

"The ironic thing about this video is that his mom, Roxanne, is not a singer and Emmett loves it when his mother sings to him,

"However, he gets a sad pouty face when I try to sing with him," he added.

Our son Emmett is a miracle. We have been praying to have a baby for six years. This September our dreams came true! I (Chris) am a singer. For weeks my wife an I have been trying to get Emmett to match my pitch. About three weeks ago he did. Ever since then he has been wooting at my wife like an owl. On this particular evening I wanted to see if he would match my pitch. Needless to say he was not happy about it when I produced the tone.
