Footage of migrants living near the main station in Belgrade, Serbia, struggling to survive in freezing winter conditions.

The video, filmed this week, shows the snow-covered area, where more than 2,000 people - mainly from Afghanistan and Pakistan - are said to be living.

They can be seen showering in abandoned carriages, burning wood for warmth and wrapping themselves in blankets after the temperature dropped to around -11 C.

Footage taken in the morning of 18/1/2017 in the surroundings of Belgrade's Centre railway station, where about 2.000 migrants, mainly from Afghanistan and Pakistan, are living since they got stuck in Serbia when the borders in the Balkan route shut in March 2016.
