A heartwarming video has emerged of a boy walking in the snow for the first time after recovering from a major hip surgery.

The footage, shot on Tuesday in Uniontown, PE, USA, shows nine-year-old Giovanni, who suffers from a rare condition called Schwartz-Jampel Syndrome, walking in the snow with his mother's help.

"Today he and his family enjoyed some time in the snow and Giovanni finally felt the snow under his boots!" Giovanni's mother wrote online.

Giovanni is a nine-year-old boy living in Pennsylvania with a rare condition called Schwartz-Jampel Syndrome. In August 2016 we all witnessed Giovanni take his first steps after his body cast removal. Today he and his family enjoyed some time in the snow and Giovanni finally felt the snow under his boots!
