Oroville Dam Spillway
On February 14th a gaping whole was discovered in the Oroville Dam spillway. Due to the extraordinary amount of heavy rains more water was entering the lake than could be released. The Dept. of Water Resources had no choice but to continue to release water in anticipation for the imminent breach of the "emergency spillway."Unfortunately I could not get near as close as I wanted as there were several helicopters in the air trying to make assessments and repairs along the waterways.
