A funny video of British YouTuber James Ware attempting to beat Donald Trump's handshake record of 19 seconds, by seeing how long he can shake hands with random members of the public.

The video, filmed in London, UK yesterday, shows James shaking hands with people, lasting on more than one occasion for more than 40 seconds before letting go.

He later wrote online: "Last week President Donald Trump set a new handshake personal best, lasting over 19 seconds with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

"Does this make him the leader of the handshaking world as well as the free one? I set out to see if I could beat his time and shake up the scene."
