An awesome video from the Newsflare archive of a dad science teacher using homemade cannons and a drone to decorate his Christmas Tree.

The footage, shot in December 2016, at home in Terrigal, New South Wales, shows Jacob Strickling of popular YouTube channel Make Science Fun using cannons to throw toilet paper decorations and baubles onto their Christmas tree. Jacob even gets help from two elves (his children, Mikalah and Samuel).

Ping-pong gold baubles are then fired at the tree and modified leaf blowers fire tinsel.

A powerful cannon is used to propel tinsel and baubles at the tree, with the force of the canon taking Jacob by surprise.

Using a final leaf blower, cooking flour is used to make it snow and Jacob even manages to make a snow angel.

Jacob and the kids then have fun launching liquid nitrogen-powered bottle rockets.

He then uses a drone to lower a star onto the top.
