Fourth grade teacher raps for students
A cool video has emerged of a teacher performing an inspiring rap to her fourth grade students.
The footage, shot in Los angeles, CA, USA late last month, shows teacher Melanie Lyon rapping to her class after they received a "golden microphone" for their exemplary behaviour at an assembly.
"After my students won an award for having the best assembly behavior I told them I would give them a reward," Lyon wrote online.
"Since their prize was to have the "golden microphone" in our classroom for the month- one student asked if I would rap for them."
"How could I say no? So here's the rap- made for my amazing room of fourth grade students!" she added.
